Render Engine Comparison

 

The Spiderbot model is provided by Substance Academy for their 2021 Substance Painter update tutorial.

 

After surfacing the model, I used four different render engines to compare the usability, output, and experience of each. To maintain a consistent comparison, each shot is lit only with an HDRI and no corrective editing in post.

 

Redshift is my preferred renderer!
